Write Now!

I have put my novel aside for longer than I care to admit.

Months.

Two months??? That can't be right. But, sadly, it is. I've been working on magazines, teaching, or tutoring. These all pay the bills, but I've missed...me! I've missed me.

As Stephen Covey or somebody like that kinda smarter than me (can you tell I'm too lazy to go look this up?) said, I've been stuck in the tyranny of the urgent, not the important.

Not that this young adult chick-lit novella is "important!" But it is to me. And it's good to be back.

And, (for my US readers) I voted today!! Go Vote!

  1. Go vote indeed! Great job making an impact Bethany. I bet you're making an impact with your tutoring too.

Remember what your Dad talked about this summer? Adding your fingerprint to what God is doing in His world through your story is vastly important. We never know what greatness He can accomplish through our obedience! Your chick-lit novella is an obedience.

Enjoy being yourself, His child, and see what He will do with your story.

I think it is neat how He understands our lives. There are times when we set it aside for a little bit. But when He has called us to it, we always pick it back up. Though, perhaps fresher next time, like a painting we realize we need to add green to so as to extend shade in, or whatever. :) Distance can work for us!

    I love you!
