NEW THING!
I want to hear three things.
Are you: Recently thinking? Feeling thankful? Becoming thin? Always thirsty? Needing therapy?
Name three things. Make it random, make it silly, make it confessional, make it up, make it real.
Here's mine:
1. After a decade of tears, Dave Ramsey, late fees and bounced checks, we have lived on a budget for exactly two weeks. TWO WHOLE WEEKS OF AGREEMENT. This is big, people.
2. My writing career, as far as I can see the into future, is always going to include teaching the craft of writing. I love it. LOVE IT.
3. I took off my anti-stalker / stalker thing because I checked it every twenty minutes. Thanks for reading! I love you. I was a crazy person. I feel a thousand pounds lighter. What am I going to do with all the free time?
Also: 1. Coffee. 2. Chianti. 3. Coca-Cola Classic.
ReplyDeleteAnd! Snickers, Butterfingers, Whoppers.
ReplyDeleteIf I were ever take a creative writing class, I would take yours. Because you're smart. And pretty. And if we lived closer I think we'd totally be BFFs in real life.
ReplyDeleteI wrote a post because I think would use up the character allotment here were I to copy and paste. And it gave me a post for the day. You're the BEST. Get yourself come cinnamon bun ice cream, crush up a Butterfinger over the top of it, and enjoy. You deserve it.
I just died of sugar. 1. Literal sugar. 2. Figurative sugar. 3. I don't really have a third one, I just wanted a third thing. Cinnamon bun ice cream: where have you been all my life?
ReplyDeleteOh! Wait. I've got it. 3. Reciprocal sugar: You are the funniest person I know. mwah.
Well your first comment could be my comment. I love all those things and first tried chianti at the Macaroni Grill one day and it quickly became our favorite. Anyway - 3 things. You know what? Every evening at dinner we go around and have to tell 3 things about our day, good or bad. It keeps conversation going and helps us keep tabs on each other. I recommend it. :) Ok, now my 3 things. 1) I never shop anymore. I have no money, no car, no needs (besides groceries). 2) I really like cold mornings. 3) I have been a total slacker with child-discipline lately and thanks to a new Family Life podcast series, I am about to become "the enforcer." Love you, friend! And I'm very proud of you for being on a budget for two weeks. You can do it!
ReplyDelete1)I finally started a blog, wrote two installments, and haven't gotten back to it for several weeks now. 2)I have a really hard time making myself finish what I start.
ReplyDeleteK - Three things? From everybody? How long does that take?
ReplyDeleteM - 3hahhaha.
I need a blog address, for harassment purposes, only.
1. Red Wine 2. Bonfire 3. Messes
ReplyDeleteJust to clairify, that's what I'd love to drink, where I'd love to be, and what I will go home to!
Ditto!
