Three Things Thursday: Tiptoe Through the Tulips
Short post today: rough school brain-drain week. I'm planning something brilliant for next week, so come back again! This, most likely is a lie. I would *like* to have something brilliant next week... I am planning on having something brilliant; I have not actually made it to the planning stages.
ARE YOU SO READY FOR SPRING?!? Here are my top three get-excited about spring things.
1. TULIPS. Everybody say, "Awww."

2. ART
When March hits, go to this website and pick out a background with a March calendar. They are made by designers all over the world, so they've got something for everybody. If you are still reading this in February, the February ones are cute, too.
3. SPRING CLEANING
I've decided I'm an all or nothing, 112 percent or cold turkey kind of girl. I struggle with self-control. If I'm doing something, I jump in with both feet and obsess about it until I kill it. If I can't do it right, I won't do it at all. Cliché much? Blah. Anyway, I always do this with spring cleaning, too. Here's Flylady, who teaches the art of cleaning in small doses. No obsessing. No All Weekend Marathon Crazy Stuff.
WHAT ARE YOUR THREE THINGS? SPRING OR OTHERWISE...
Have a great weekend, everybody!

Three Things Thursday: From My Brain, to Yours
Here ya go: three of the most random thoughts I had this week.
1.) I wonder how today's technology would change key scenes in movies we love?
Remember in My Best Friend's Wedding, how Julia Roberts borrowed a computer to write an email and it was saved in Drafts, but got sent anyway?
Today, she would have just sent it from her Blackberry. Or in Sleepless in Seattle? The little girl's parents were travel agents? Do those exist still?
2.) Why do the Olympics make me want to wear Burton snowboarding clothes... all day every day?

3. I heard this on a commercial, and Twitter helped me find it. Thanks, Rachel and Mattie! Anyway, CAN YOU SAY, "CLARINET SOLO!"? This is "Half an Acre" by Hem.
HOW WOULD TECHNOLOGY CHANGE YOUR MOVIE SCENES?

Three Things Thursday: The Opposite of Failure
This is what failure is.
1. Quitting when it gets difficult.
2. Quitting when it stops being fun.
3. Never trying at all.
Listen to me.
You are not a failure. Failing, even failing repeatedly, does not make you a failure.
People can, and do, fail. People never, ever become failures. It is never too late. There are no irredeemable people. No stories are final.
Also: In the words of Larry the Cable Guy, "Lord, I apologize."

"This Is Just To Say..."
... that I haven't forgotten you.
... that I love you dearly.
... that I appreciate you stopping by.
... that I truly enjoy graduate school, but my free (blogging) time is now missing.
... that I miss free time. *sigh*
b.
In honor of FORMSPRING, WHAT IS/WAS THE KINDEST THING SOMEONE HAS DONE FOR YOU?
or
WHAT IS YOUR FAVORITE TV SHOW?
or
WHAT IS/WAS YOUR FAVORITE CLASS IN SCHOOL?
